Zombies vs. The Police

So, Last week I got to be part of a Youtube Video Series for Orabrush.
We filmed in an abandoned detention center in January... 30 degrees outside the building, 10 degrees inside... It was FREEZING!!!

During our lunch break a few zombie extras decided to tour around and go up on the roof... They chose to take with them an M4 rifle.

It wasn't actually an M4, but an airsoft (plastic b-b) mock up... Either way, they were up there, on the roof, with a pretty realistic looking weapon. And it just so happened that about 15 feet away was a elementary school...

So, Bobby and Jessica's mommy or daddy drive by and they see a few obscure personages standing on a roof with a dangerous weapon possibly waiting for the school to release a mass of innocent children... They called the police.

The incredibly efficient police surrounded us and laid snipers on the elementary school roof without anyone noticing much of anything... we did hear the school bell ringing, but we had no clue it was an internal LOCK DOWN notice. Landon Ritchie - a friend of mine who had the fake weapon - absolutely lost his head when he realized how close to death he had come personally - who do you think you would target?

After some miscommunication clarification - we did have the cities permission to be filming there - things went back to normal... Rumor was that the news was going to come and report on it. I don't know if that happened or not.

Filming was done by Jacob and Kate Schwartz and the makeup was done by a fantastic industry leader. Here's me in my outfit and mask - others (like Landon) had actual facial prostesis.
